Bettie in my own words
Bettie Page, she is not an obsession of mine, she was the candle burning in the pitch black nights of my darker days. Now, I am married and have a wonderful woman that fills that void, but before I met her, there was Bettie. Her smile and her persona that was captured in her photos, could cheer me up even on the worst of my days. She was the highlight of my day, and brought me inspiration day after day.
The passing of Bettie Page on December 11, 2008 of course has brought me great sadness that she is no longer with us. She was a true living legend, and inspiration for women, a woman that ahead of her years, and the true Queen of Pinups. I would say that she will be missed, and for some I am sure that is true, but I will still see her every day just as I first did and as she intended for us to see her. She is, as she was when I first discovered her, immortalized as her photos have made her. Thank You Bettie!

A little about Bettie Page
Bettie Page, unlike most models, did not start her modeling career until she was 27 years old. She did not reach her peak of stardom until she was 31, appearing in Playboy Magazine as the January 1955 centerfold. She has been on more magazine covers than Marilyn Monroe or Cindy Crawford, and is considered to be the Queen of Pinups!
